Older Adults’ Perception of Vulnerability and Inequality in Recovering from the COVID-19 Pandemic

Since March 2020, when the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic, older adults have been disproportionately impacted physically, socially, mentally, economically, and spiritually which highlights their vulnerability and inequity during the pandemic. What is not known is older adults’ perception of vulnerability and inequity as nations recover from the pandemic, which this pilot study seeks to address. Findings will contribute to pandemic recovery strategies that will enhance social inclusion and equity for older adults.
