Martha Baillie’s novel The Incident Report was long listed for the 2009 Scotiabank Giller Prize. She has also published the bestselling novel The Shape I Gave You, My Sister Esther, Madame Balashkaya’s Apartment, and The Search for Heinrich Schlogel. Her work has been translated into numerous languages. Baillie lives in Toronto.

Kathleen Wall is a poet and fiction writer who lives in Regina. She is Professor Emerita at the University of Regina. Her collection Time’s Body won a Major Manuscript Award for poetry from the Saskatchewan Writers Guild, and her first novel Blue Duets was critically acclaimed. She has a book of poems, with accompanying photographs, forthcoming from the University of Calgary Press.
