Stephen Ogheneruro Okpadah holds a B.A (Hons) Degree in Theatre Arts from Delta State University Abraka, Nigeria, and a Master Degree in Performing Arts from University of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. He has published numerous articles in local and international journals which include journals housed by Routledge-Francis and Taylor Group and Intellect. Okpadah is a co-editor of Committed Theatre in Nigeriaː Perspectives on Teaching and Practice (Lexington Books, 2020) and co-editor of Locating Transnational Spaces: Culture, Theatre and Cinema (IATC and the University College of the North, Canada, 2020). He is currently editing a journal issue, titled Intercultural Encounters, Historicity and Cultural Communication for Development, with Professor Osakue Omoera and The New Nigerian Theatre: Dramaturgy and Politics of Ahmed Yerima, with Dr. Adakole Oklobia. His areas of research broadly focus on Environmental Cinema, Film Theory, Criticism, Participatory Theatre and Geo-politics. Okpadah is also a Senior Research Fellow and Director of Research, Theatre Emissary International, Nigeria.
